I am very pleased at how well my little transplants are doing. I kicked off
the fall planting season on September 7th by
soil blocking about 500 squares. I know, outrageous number of soil blocks but it makes me more interesting that way.

I sowed dwarf grey sugar peas, onions, dill, cilantro, basil, spinach, cabbage, broccoli, chard, beets, radish, mustard greens, collard greens, arugula, mesclun, and several different lettuces.

CONGRATS! those look really good. i am jealous. i don't have the patience to garden, only the discipline to eat! :P
your vegetables look scrumptious.
Hey! Sorry I missed your comment/question. Barley Malt Powder is different than Barley Malt Extract. You can buy Barley Malt Extract from Culver City Brewing Supply on Sepulveda Blvd. They also ship. It's made by a company called Wyler's Light.
Hope that helps.
Welcome to the blogosphere, and thanks for playing free plant friday.
